Prosper Show: A Practical Conference Guide for Amazon Sellers

Prosper Show conference guide for Amazon sellers with expo hall networking and event branding

Prosper Show is one of the largest conferences in the Amazon and e-commerce seller community, bringing together over 1,200 sellers and 170+ service providers across three days at The Wynn Las Vegas. If you have never attended, it is a must-experience event at least once – the scale is something you have to see for yourself.

This will be our fifth year exhibiting at Prosper. The insights below come directly from that experience, including a few honest things worth knowing before you book your flight. The 2026 event runs March 10-12 at The Wynn Las Vegas.

What Is Prosper Show?

Prosper Show is an annual marketplace seller event produced by Emerald X, designed specifically for Amazon sellers and multi-channel e-commerce businesses. Unlike smaller, niche gatherings, Prosper operates at a genuinely large scale: three days of programming, a massive expo hall with over 170 exhibitors, and more than 20 curated educational sessions.

The event draws sellers across all experience levels and business models – private label brands, wholesale sellers, arbitrage operators, and established multi-channel retailers.

For context: compared to ASGTG, which is a focused one-day event for roughly 1,000 sellers in Brooklyn, Prosper is a fundamentally different experience. Both happen in March. Neither is better; they serve different purposes.

Conference Format and Programming

Prosper features over 20 curated educational sessions and continuous access to 170+ service and solution providers across the expo floor. Sessions are curated rather than open-pitch, keeping the focus on tactics and trends rather than sales.

This year the event expands from two days to three – something worth watching. From our experience, the first day is high-energy, with the floor buzzing and sellers actively seeking out service providers. The second day is more relaxed and professional, better suited for deeper conversations and strengthening existing relationships. Whether a third day adds genuine value or simply stretches the energy thinner remains to be seen, but our instinct is it will feel closer to that second-day rhythm – which is not a bad thing if you plan for it.

As the legal exhibitors at Prosper, our team will be available throughout all three days at booth #531 to speak with sellers about account suspensions, IP issues, trademark disputes, Brand Registry challenges, and any other legal or compliance matters. Come visit us, or book a meeting with our team ahead of the event.

Who Should Attend Prosper Show?

Sellers Who Want the Full Industry Picture

If you want to understand the current state of the Amazon and e-commerce ecosystem – what tools, services, and strategies are gaining traction, what issues are top of mind across the seller community, and where the market is heading – Prosper is the right room to be in. The scale of the event creates a cross-section of the industry that smaller conferences simply cannot replicate.

Sellers Evaluating Service Providers

With over 170 exhibitors under one roof, Prosper offers unmatched efficiency for vendor evaluation. Instead of scheduling individual discovery calls over weeks, you can have meaningful conversations with dozens of providers across operations, logistics, software, advertising, legal, and finance in a single day. Come with specific questions and a clear sense of your current challenges.

As the legal exhibitors at Prosper, we’re always available on the expo floor to discuss account issues, IP disputes, platform suspensions, or any situation where you’re not sure whether you need legal support. These conversations are confidential and there’s no obligation – we simply believe that sellers who understand their legal options make better decisions.

Sellers Facing Legal or Compliance Issues

If you are currently dealing with any of the following, Prosper is a valuable opportunity to speak directly with legal professionals who specialize in marketplace law:

Bring any relevant documentation or case summaries so we can have a focused, productive conversation.

Sellers Seeking Peer Community at Scale

If you’ve primarily operated in smaller seller groups or online communities, attending Prosper for the first time is genuinely eye-opening. The sense of community, the density of shared experience in the room, and the realization of how large this industry has become – it’s something you carry back with you. Many sellers describe their first Prosper as the moment they felt fully embedded in the ecosystem rather than operating at its edges.

An Honest Look at the Prosper Experience

The Scale Takes Adjustment

Prosper is large. The expo hall is busy, the sessions draw substantial crowds, and the three days of back-to-back programming and networking can be tiring. First-time attendees sometimes underestimate this. Come with a clear sense of your priorities: which exhibitors do you need to visit? Which sessions are essential? Having a plan prevents you from spending three days wandering rather than executing.

The Evening Events: Worth Trying, But Choose Carefully

Evening events are a significant part of the Prosper experience, and they’re worth trying. That said, a word of honest advice: be selective about which paid evening events you invest in.

Some of the ticketed evening events are more party than networking opportunity. They’re loud, crowded, and don’t foster the kind of genuine conversations that actually lead to business relationships. If you’re attending for the first time, try at least one evening event to experience the culture – but prioritize smaller, more structured gatherings where real dialogue is possible. The best conversations often happen at dinners, hosted meetups, or simply in the hotel bar rather than at large-scale parties.

A Note on Food

The food situation at Prosper has changed in recent years, and it’s worth knowing in advance. The conference previously offered open catering with no restrictions on quantity, which was one of those small details that made attendees feel well taken care of. That model has been replaced: attendees now receive a coupon that covers a single portion per meal service. It’s a meaningful downgrade from the prior experience, and it’s worth planning around – especially across a three-day event. Budget for meals outside the conference or plan accordingly so you’re not caught off guard.

How to Maximize Your Time at Prosper

Map out your must-see exhibitors before you arrive. The floor plan and exhibitor list are available in advance. Review them, identify the providers most relevant to your current business challenges, and make contact in advance where possible to schedule time at their booths. The expo floor gets busy, and showing up without a plan means you’ll spend time wandering rather than executing.

Treat sessions as context, not just content. The educational sessions are valuable, but their greatest benefit is often the shared reference point they create. When you walk off the session floor and into the expo hall or into a conversation over lunch, you’re all working from the same information. Use that common ground as a starting point for deeper conversations.

Be specific when talking to service providers. Whether you’re evaluating a software tool, a logistics partner, or a legal firm, generic conversations produce generic answers. Come prepared with the actual details of your situation. If you’re visiting our booth to discuss a legal issue, the more context you can share – what happened, when, and what you’ve already tried – the more useful that conversation will be.

Don’t ignore the hallway. Some of the best conversations at Prosper happen outside the formal programming: in line for coffee, between sessions, or at the end of a long day when people are more relaxed. Stay open to unplanned conversations. Conferences of this size have a way of putting the right people in front of each other at unexpected moments.

Follow through immediately after the event. The post-conference period is where most of the value either gets captured or lost. Send follow-up messages to new contacts within 48 hours while the conversations are still fresh. If you met with service providers and committed to next steps, complete them promptly. The investment in attending is only realized through implementation.

Is Prosper Show Worth Attending?

For most active Amazon and marketplace sellers, yes – and we’d go further to say it’s the kind of event worth attending at least once, regardless of where you are in your business journey. The scale of Prosper is something that needs to be experienced directly to be understood. The community, the scope of the exhibitor floor, the density of expertise in the room – it creates a perspective on the industry that no amount of podcasts, newsletters, or smaller events can fully replicate.

That said, Prosper is not a perfect event. The food situation is a genuine frustration compared to prior years, and the evening events vary significantly in quality – some create real networking opportunities while others are essentially large parties that don’t allow for meaningful conversation. Going in with clear expectations and a selective approach to how you spend your time and money will make a significant difference in what you get out of it.

If you’re weighing Prosper against ASGTG, which also takes place in March, they serve genuinely different purposes. ASGTG is a focused, single-day event well-suited for targeted problem-solving and deeper conversations with specific service providers. Prosper is a three-day industry immersion. If your budget allows for both, attending each of them in the same year gives you a complete picture of the community.

Las Vegas, The Wynn, and three full days make it more than a conference – it’s an experience.
